Amanda Ho

Head Fund Fellow

Prior to Wharton, Amanda spent two and a half years at Snap Inc in the Revenue Strategy group, where she joined pre-IPO to work on revenue forecasting. Prior to that, Amanda was an equity derivative sales-trader at Barclays Investment Bank. Amanda graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University with a B.S. in Economics and a Concentration in Finance. Amanda interned at T. Rowe Price this summer.

Graham Hickman

Director of Research

Before coming to Wharton, Graham worked as a Senior Equity Research Associate at Dodge & Cox where he covered Industrials, Aerospace & Defense, and Life Sciences. Prior to Dodge & Cox, Graham attended Brigham Young University where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and minors in Global Business, Psychology, and Ballroom Dance. He passed level III of the CFA exam in 2019. Graham interned at American Century Investments this summer.

Nikhil Jayawickrama

Nikhil Jayawickrama

Director of Research

Prior to Wharton, Nikhil was an Associate at Benefit Street Partners, an alternative asset management firm with $25bn in AUM, where he focused on financial services private equity and firm strategy. Prior to Benefit Street Partners, he was in Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, in both the Financial Institutions Group and in Equity Capital Markets. Nikhil graduated summa cum laude from NYU Stern with a B.S. in Business and Political Economy and a minor in Mathematics. Nikhil interned at Surveyor Capital this summer.

Anooj Vikam

Anooj Vikam

Director of Trading & Performance

Prior to Wharton, Anooj worked as an Investment Associate in Private Equity firm Lighthouse Funds in Mumbai, focusing on transactions across private and public markets in consumer, consumer technology and healthcare. He began his career as a healthcare coverage banker in ICICI Securities which is the investment banking arm of India’s largest private sector bank. Anooj is a rank holding Chartered Accountant and also a CFA. Anooj interned at Brandes Investment Partners this summer.

Matteo Tappainer

Director of Alumni

Prior to Wharton, Matteo worked as an Investment Associate in Private Equity firm Apax Partners, focusing on Technology & Telecommunication and Financial & Business services, covering global sectors from the London office. He began his career in J.P. Morgan Investment Banking in London. Matteo holds a B.Sc. from Bocconi University and a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics. Matteo interned at a hedge fund management firm with $40bn AUM this summer.

Andres Azcarate

Andres Azcarate

Prior to Wharton, Andres was Vice President at Dolphin Capital Partners, a $2bn real estate private equity fund, where he focused on acquisitions and investments in Latin America. Prior to Dolphin Capital, Andres worked as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. Andres graduated from The University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A. in Finance. Andres interned at Alyeska Investment Group this summer.

Loretta Bu

Loretta Bu

Prior to Wharton, Loretta worked at Citigroup in New York focusing on Fixed Income research and trading. She began her career in Structured Credit Trading, U.S. Rates, and most recently worked as a Strategist in Municipal Research. Loretta graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics, Finance and Philosophy. Loretta has been a CFA Charterholder since 2018. Loretta interned at Capital Group this summer.

Tori De Metz

Tori De Metz

Before coming to Wharton, Tori worked at United Airlines for 4 years, working primarily in strategy and network planning groups. Tori graduated from Northwestern University with majors in Industrial Engineering and Economics. She interned at T. Rowe Price this summer.

Carter Goman

Carter Goman

Prior to Wharton, Carter was an Associate with Enhanced Capital, investing across senior and subordinated debt, mezzanine finance, and tax equity. Prior to that, he worked in investment banking at BNP Paribas and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Carter graduated from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Finance, Economics, and International Business, and a minor in Spanish. He is a CFA charterholder. Carter interned at Surveyor Capital this summer.

Prior to Wharton, Brandon worked on the Portfolio Management team of Wilshire Associates, focusing on creating multi-asset, multi-manager portfolios for institutional clients. Brandon graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration. He is a CFA Charterholder. Brandon interned at T. Rowe Price this summer.

Stella worked on the Portfolio Management team at Russell Investments in New York, where she focused on multi-asset investing. Previously, she completed a rotational program at J.P. Morgan Investment Management. Stella attended Brown University where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and a Master’s in Business Engineering. She is a CFA charterholder. Stella interned at Frontier Capital this summer.

Prior to Wharton, Sarah worked as a financial analyst at Apple. She began her career at Goldman Sachs Investment Banking in the Consumer Retail group. Sarah graduated summa cum laude, from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Economics. Sarah interned at Viking Global this summer.

Kai Zhang

Kai Zhang

Before Wharton, Kai was most recently with Goldman Sachs’ equity research group in New York, covering US telecom stocks; prior to that, he worked on GS SUSTAIN, a sell-side strategy team based in San Francisco that focuses on long-term investing and ESG integration. Prior to Goldman, he was a generalist at a long-only equity fund in Chicago. Kai graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in Mathematics and Political Science. Kai interned at Franklin Templeton as an equity analyst this summer.
