Prior to Wharton, Garrett spent two years in private equity at Advent International and three years in consulting at McKinsey & Company. Garrett graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He will be interning with Newbrook Capital this summer.

Stephanie Beebe

Prior to Wharton, Stephanie was an investment banking associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Financial Institutions Group in New York. Prior to BofAML, Stephanie was a Corporate M&A analyst at Citi. Stephanie graduated from Swarthmore College with a BA in Economics and Anthropology. She will be interning at T. Rowe Price this summer.

Marc Gruenhut

Prior to Wharton, Marc spent two years as an Associate at Endeavour Capital, a middle-market private equity firm in Los Angeles. Prior to Endeavour, he spent two years in investment banking at Citigroup in Chicago in their M&A and industrials groups. Marc graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Economics and second major in Finance. He will be interning with Fidelity this summer.

Daniel Zhu

Prior to Wharton, Daniel served as an equity research associate with Dodge & Cox in San Francisco for four years, where he helped covered Chemicals, Transportation, and Media & Internet sectors. He graduated from The University of Chicago with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. Daniel will be interning with T. Rowe Price this summer.

Matthew Frustaci

Prior to Wharton, Matthew worked in strategy at CircleCI, a devops software company. Prior to that, he was an associate at Summit Partners, where he focused on growth-stage technology investments. Prior to Summit Partners, he was an investment banking analyst at Robert W. Baird. Matthew graduated from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in Finance and History. He will be interning at T. Rowe Price this summer.

Joseph Blundo

Joseph Blundo

Prior to Wharton, Joe spent three years as an Associate at Technology Crossover Ventures (“TCV”), a $16B growth equity and venture capital investment firm, focused on making investments in technology and data services companies serving the healthcare, education, and financial services verticals. Prior to TCV, Joe spent two years as an investment banking analyst at Harris Williams & Co. (“HW&Co.”), a sell-side M&A advisory firm. Joe graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College with concentrations in both Finance and Economics.

Matthew Carlone

Matthew Carlone

Matthew Carlone is a first-year MBA Candidate at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, Matthew spent two years at the DLL Group performing data analytics. Prior to DLL, he spent four years as an equity analyst at Casey Capital, a value-oriented long/short equity fund. Matthew graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BA in Economics. Matthew has been a CFA Charterholder since 2017 and will be interning with Fidelity Investments this summer as an equity research analyst.

Gabe Farajollah

Gabe Farajollah

Prior to Wharton, Gabe served as a Securities Analyst at International Value Advisers, a $19B global, long-only investment manager, focusing on the healthcare and financials industries, among others. Prior to that, he was an Equity Research Associate at AB Bernstein (formerly Sanford C. Bernstein) covering the capital markets industry. He was a Trustee Scholar at the University of Southern California and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration. Gabe will be interning at TenCore Partners this summer.

Prior to Wharton, Ben worked at Nokota Management in NY as an investment analyst focused on long/short public equity investments. Prior to Nokota, Ben worked at Ares Management in LA as an associate in the Private Equity Group. Prior to Ares, Ben worked at Citi in NY as an investment banking analyst in the M&A Group. Ben graduated with a B.B.A. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Ben will be interning at Amazon in Seattle on the Corporate Development team this summer.

Edward Velasquez

Prior to Wharton, Edward worked at Heritage Partners, an investment platform focused on franchised businesses. Prior to that, he was an investment banking associate at Goldman Sachs in the Technology, Media and Telecom Group. Edward graduated from Baruch College with a BBA in Finance. He will be interning at Marshall Wace this summer.

Prior to Wharton, Athena was a Senior Equity Research Associate at Credit Suisse covering financials. Prior to Credit Suisse, she worked at BlackRock focusing on multi-assets strategies. Athena graduated from University of Chicago with an AB in Economics. She will be interning at MFS this summer. Athena has been a CFA Charterholder since 2018.

Helen Zhang

Prior to Wharton, Helen was an assistant vice president in the direct private equity group at GIC Special Investments in New York. Prior to GIC, Helen worked in distressed and special situations at HIG Capital and in investment banking at Moelis & Company. Helen graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in economics-mathematics and a concentration in psychology. This summer, she will be interning with Fidelity.

Prior to Wharton, Allison worked as a L/S equity analyst at Point72 Asset Management. Prior to that, Allison was an investment banking analyst in the Power & Utilities group at Barclays. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard with an AB in Chemistry. She will be interning at Capital Group this summer.
