David will be interning with Clearfield Capital Management this summer. Prior to Wharton he spent three years in mid-market private equity at Clairvest Group and two years in M&A investment banking at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto. David graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Commerce, First Class Honours.
Prior to Wharton, Mihir worked at Red Oak Partners, a value-oriented long/short equity fund. Prior to Red Oak, Mihir was a private equity associate at GoldPoint Partners and an investment banking analyst at Moelis & Company in the M&A and Restructuring groups. He graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with a BS in Finance and International Business. He will be interning at Surveyor Capital this summer.
Prior to Wharton, Tom worked at McCarthy Capital, a private equity firm. During his two years at McCarthy, Tom focused on investments in software and business services businesses. Prior to that, he was an investment banking analyst at BMO Capital Markets in its Technology and Business Services Group. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Villanova University with a B.S. in mechanical engineering. Tom interned at Caro-Kann Capital during the spring of 2018 and will be interning at Inverness Graham this summer.
Prior to Wharton, Patrick served as an Associate at next47, Siemens AG’s Venture Capital group, where he invested in early-stage healthcare and industrial technology companies. Prior to next47, he was an Engagement Manager at Health Advances, a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm. Patrick graduated Tau Beta Pi with a BA and BE in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College. He will be interning this summer at Surveyor Capital.
Prior to Wharton, Eric worked at Partner Fund Management, a $5B long/short equity hedge fund, covering Technology companies. Eric also worked at The Capital Group covering Technology, Media, and Telecom equities and began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a minor in Jazz Studies. He will be interning at Whale Rock Capital this summer.
Nate will be interning with Owl Creek this summer. Prior to Wharton he worked for Surveyor Capital, Citadel’s multi-manager platform; AEA Investors, as part of its dedicated 2.5B middle-market private equity fund; and Bain & Company.
Prior to Wharton, Nickie worked at Credit Suisse and Nomura as an equity research associate. During her four years on the sell side, Nickie focused on US and Asian Semiconductors and covered various end markets. Nickie graduated from National Taiwan University top of her class with a double major in Economics and Political Science. She will be interning at BlackRock this summer.
Christine previously worked at Oliver Wyman as a financial services consultant. She graduated with a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University, with certificates in Computer Science and Finance. Christine will be interning with Fidelity this summer.
Prior to Wharton, Yida worked at Advent International in its Shanghai office, a global buyout private equity firm headquartered in Boston. During his two years at Advent, Yida focused on investments in Industrial, Consumer and Education sectors in Asia. Prior to joining Advent, Yida was with Goldman Sachs as an Associate within the Investment Banking Division in Beijing and as an Analyst within the Financing Group in San Francisco. Yida graduated from University of California, Berkeley with dual B.A. degrees in Operations Research and Economics (Honor). He will be interning at York Capital in Hong Kong this summer.
Prior to Wharton, Freda worked at Oaktree Capital for two years doing private equity and credit investment. Prior to that, she worked at J.P. Morgan investment banking. Freda graduated from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, with a BSc in Economic and Finance. She will be interning at Indus Capital this summer.
Prior to Wharton, Ankur spent over three years at Temasek Holdings, where he worked as a generalist looking at the firm's private equity and public market investments in India. Ankur graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2011. He spent his pre-MBA summers at Janchor Partners and will be interning at Warburg Pincus this summer.
Chris previously worked at Expedia, the leading online travel agency in the US, where he was a Senior Analyst on the Corporate Development team responsible for strategic initiatives and M&A. Prior to Expedia, Chris worked at Wells Fargo Securities, where he was an Investment Banking Analyst covering casino gaming and biopharma. Chris graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and will be interning at TCW this summer.
