Co-Chair

Ryan previously served in the United States Navy as an F/A-18 fighter pilot. While in the Navy, he completed two combat deployments flying off of aircraft carriers supporting coalition ground forces in Afghanistan, deployed to the Middle East on a non-flying assignment with special operations forces, and finished his career as an F/A-18 instructor pilot. Prior to beginning at Wharton, Ryan passed the CFA Level I exam. Ryan spent his summer as an Equity Research Analyst Intern at Fidelity.

Ahsan Rahim, CFA

Ahsan Rahim is a second year MBA student at Wharton double-majoring in Finance and Strategic Management. Prior to Wharton, Ahsan spent 4 years working at AllianceBernstein in New York City. He started in the Fixed Income group, where he worked in emerging markets fundamental credit research, quantitative research and global multi-sector portfolio management before moving to the firm’s asset allocation group. This past summer he interned at McKinsey & Company in the New York City office in the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice. Ahsan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, from Grinnell College. He is also a CFA charterholder. He enjoys foreign travel, trying out new foods & cuisines, playing soccer, following his beloved Arsenal, reading about behavioral economics, and investing.

Kushal is a first year MBA student at Wharton majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. Most recently, Kushal worked in venture philanthropy at Central Square Foundation in New Delhi, and prior to that was a management consultant at Accenture Strategy in Chicago and San Francisco. Kushal graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Vivek previously worked in venture capital at Nokia Growth Partners across their Europe, India and US offices, and in consulting with A.T. Kearney before. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Jock Payten is a first year MBA candidate majoring in Finance and Accounting. He previously worked at Ipreo, a financial technology services firm, where he supported corporate investor relations professionals target and manage their relationship with institutional investors using the BD Corporate database. Jock graduated from Fordham University with a B.S. in Finance. He is currently a CFA Exam, Level 1 Candidate.

There, she modeled the bank's credit derivatives portfolio against stress testing objectives. Sam also worked as a public equities investor at Flatley Management, a single-family office and foundation in Boston. Sam began his career at Thomas Weisel Partners after graduating from Bowdoin College in 2007.
